The 19th National Conference on Fatigue and Fracture

The 19th National Conference on Fatigue and Fracture was held in Shenyang, Liaoning province from August 16 to 17, 2018. This Conference was organized by the Fatigue Branch of the China Society for Materials Research and the Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenyang Unnversity of Technology and Northeastern Unnversity. It is the largest academic conference in the field of material fatigue and fracture in China. More than 600 representatives from home and aborad attended the annual academic conference. The conference received a total of 355 papers, including 6 keynote reports.

Daniel Sun, Archer Li, John Jiao and Carl zha were invited to participate in the conference and gave speeches entitled "Impact of shot peening on the surface crack propagation process of axle parts", "Cross-material crack propagation simulation based Zencrack" and "Interface crack growth analysis using Zencrack", respectively.
